London

Three innovative applications showing the best of London’s communities.

Lower Marsh & The Cut, Waterloo

Local residents worked hard to transform Lower Marsh & The Cut from a little-known street behind Waterloo station into one of London’s most dynamic and trendy areas. Known for its focus on food and drink, it is now a popular and much loved neighbourhood in the heart of London.

Myddleton Road, Haringey

Over the last five years, Myddleton Road has been turned around by the local community and local businesses working together to make Myddleton Road a destination. Crime is down, visitor numbers have increased and new award-winning restaurants and shops are opening.

Romford, Havering

With a plan to regenerate the area with a mixture of artist and business engagement, Romford has transformed itself into a thriving neighbourhood. With a shopping centre run by local residents, a new start-up hub and art festivals and exhibitions Romford is reinventing itself as a hub in outer London.
