Small Market Town

Three exceptional candidates showing different approaches to transforming their towns.

Chipping Norton

Though a trailblazing approach to promoting a digital high street, the team in Chipping Norton are showcasing the best of Chippy and showing that despite what the media says, it’s a much-loved community hub, brimming with personality.

Hebden Bridge

After being devastated in the December 2015 floods, the community, businesses and council worked together to get Hebden Bridge back on its feet. With 95 % of Market Street shops now trading again following the floods Hebden Bridge shows the power of working together.

Thame

Staffed by volunteers, the 21st Century Thame team is working hard to promote Thame and boost footfall. By working with local businesses and the community and fun events including a cricket festival on the high street, the team are seeing visitor numbers soar and pride in the town going up.
